Anyway, what you say rings so true.  I used to work at a busy company in a department in which we spent a lot time out on the field.  But we needed to be in close communication so, as it happens, one of us came up with a twitter-like web service (actually the P2 wordpress theme) and it was a Godsend!  We needed to know what the other was doing so that we could do our work better.

Well, guess what, when the boss found out.  The little innovation was banned! We are supposed to use &#039;proper&#039; communication channels.
